The Australian Water Association (the Association) and the Water Industry Alliance (WIA) have teamed up to bring the South Australian water sector a one-of-its kind water policy event.

To be held on the 28 April 2016, the South Australian Water Policy Dialogue will build on the Association’s 2015 Water Policy Summit – an annual event which brings together the top 150 influential water industry leaders to discuss the future of water policy in Australia.

The South Australian Water Policy Dialogue will also draw knowledge from the 2015 Water Consumer Outlook (produced by the Association and Arup) and the 2015 State of the Water Sector Report (produced by the Association and Deloitte) which both offer a unique ability to compare perceptions within the water sector.

The South Australian Water Policy Dialogue will also be utilizing a new event format called Vidmit, developed by the Water Industry Alliance. Vidmit utilises modern technologies allowing people who register to attend to have access to presenters’ content prior to the event, subsequently allowing people on the day to maximize their engagement in a fully interactive facilitated discussion with the presenters. The format provides the greatest optimization of attendees’ time commitment and the value received from the event.

Further information about the South Australian Water Policy Dialogue will be released in the near future.
